NYC based artist, Benjamin Hey! aka "The Captain" has been writing a song daily since 4/15/2017. 

As a songwriter/producer, he has achieved Billboard success with Laverne Cox's club song debut, "Beat For..." 

Benjamin Hey! writes hypnotic songs that linger in your head, long after the music stops. 

With a fashion-forward image that is Hollywood mixed with a street edge, he created his full length debut “LAX," which helped take his creativity to international ground. 

The Captain walks into any room and owns it! 

As a model, he has walked in The Runway Shows for designers such as Allan Virgo and modeled for brands including MAC & Patrick Starrr. In 2022, he also returned to the runway for Fashion Week Brooklyn walking for Vodoo Fe, Inshallah Clothing & Moshood.

As an actor, he has been in Netflix’s The Punisher and had a cameo in the Universal Pictures movie, Bros. 

2022 saw The Captain releasing two singles under the JBM imprint. “Ra-ta-tat-tat” , a conscious hip hop record, saw record streams on Spotify. He also released a Hip-Hop/R&B love song titled “No Samples” produced by platinum producer Young Cutta (NBA Youngboy, Meek Mill).
